Union junior Allison Ross not only represents our district but now Lawrence County. Saturday, May 20th, Ross and Mallory Gorgacz participated in Lawrence County’s Distinguished Young Woman 2024 Program. The program consists of Interview, Fitness, Talent, and Self Expression categories. Allie successfully earned the Talent and Self-Expression Award. Allie also earned a scholarship award towards community contribution and highest verbal SAT score. Mallory was awarded second place for Most Tickets and Ads Sold. Allison Ross will compete in the state competition on August 4th, which will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater. Both Union juniors represent our school in ways words cannot express, and the district is extremely proud of their hard work, dedication, and passion for doing what they do best.
