Anticipated K-12 Art Teacher – 2024-2025 School Year

The Union Area School District in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, is seeking applications for an anticipated full-time K-12 Art Teacher position beginning in the 2024-2025 school year.  PA certification in Art K-12 is required for this position.  Candidates who currently possess the certification or who anticipate completing their certification prior to July 1, 2024 are encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applying is March 22, 2024.  All application materials must be received by 3 pm on March 22, 2024 to be fully considered.

Information Regarding Clearances: 

Child Abuse Clearances

Click on the website and it will walk you through the process of creating a new account in Compass to allow you to complete the Child Abuse clearance online. You will need to pay with a credit or debit card. Be sure to select Department of Education and School Employee. The cost of this clearance is $8.00 and is free for volunteers.

Criminal History

Click on the website and it will take you to “PA Access to Criminal History.” Near the center of the page there will be a link that to “Submit a New Record Check.” This will allow you to complete the information. A debit or credit card is required and the fee is $8.00 and free for volunteers. If you have no record, you will be able to print the result immediately. Make sure to click on the CERTIFICATION FORM to print the report.
