PSSA Information 

2021-2022 School Year

In April, Union Memorial Elementary School and Union Middle School will begin administering the Pennsylvania State System of Assessments.  The information obtained from these assessments serves as a valuable tool in planning future school programs, developing curriculum, and planning professional development for our staff.  These assessments will yield individual student reports and school, district, and state data.  Guardians will also receive a copy of this letter in the mail.  

Our PSSA testing schedule will be as follows:  

Date of Test Grade Level Assessment

April 26, 27, 28 Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ELA Assessment

May 3 and 4 Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Math Assessment

May 10 and 11 Grades 4 and 8 Science Assessment

We appreciate as much as possible avoiding scheduling appointments on these dates so that students may participate with their class in the assessments.  If a student leaves during the middle of an assessment, s/he is not permitted to finish upon their return.  

Because of your support and encouragement, we are confident that our students will once again do a GRRReat job on the PSSAs.
