Return-to-School Updates

Union Families

I know it seems like we just ended the school year, but your teachers and administrators are already hard at work planning for next school year.  We’re in the process of developing an extensive return-to-school template for the fall.  We are constructing the plan with the input from many stakeholders such as teachers, administrators, board members, and ultimately our families.  Your feedback will be crucial to the development of our plan.  We want to return to school as traditionally as possible, but we want to keep in mind the needs of our families and the health and safety of our students and staff.

We will reach out to families regarding participation on our committee, but right now, we need your immediate assistance.  We will be sending out a survey soon that will be vital to constructing the return-to-school template.  The survey will not take long to complete, but the information gathered will help us design programming, assign staff, make fiscal investments, and much more.  We are strongly encouraging families to complete the survey.  The more families that complete the survey, the more effective and efficient our planning will be for school in the fall.

Please be on the lookout for the survey via email and text message over the next week or so.  If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at  We firmly believe that we can develop a plan that fits the needs of our community if we work together to accomplish our goals.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Please take the time to participate in our survey.

Educationally yours,

Dr. Michael A. Ross
